41st Street Construction To Begin Monday

October 8, 2012, 6:01 AM by Kellee Azar

41st Street Construction To Begin Monday
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

With 30 days left to the construction season, crews are working overtime to get everything finished and even starting up a few more projects.

Monday morning, crews will be out on 41st street, closing lanes from Spring Avenue to Norton Avenue.

The work is part of the ongoing construction of the Sanitary Interceptor Sewer Replacement Project.

It will require lanes in both directions to be closed on 41t Street while street crews make utility replacements and resurface the intersections.  And while it is just a few blocks, it is one block from the Minnesota Avenue intersection so it could cause some delays. Drivers should avoid the area if possible.

Crews say this stretch will be done in two weeks but the over all project completion date is expected to be November 30.
