The South Dakota 4-H Performing Arts Troupe is presenting "4-H Salutes American Bandstand" in Aberdeen this weekend.
The troupe's two performances are scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Northern State University's Johnson Fine Arts Center. Both are free and open to the public, though a free-will donation is appreciated.
More than 60 teens from 23 South Dakota counties, ages 13 through 18, will perform music, dance and songs such as "Bandstand Boogie," ''Locomotion," ''ABC," ''Don't Stop Believin'," ''Achy Breaky Heart," and "Can Anybody Hear Me."
The troupe has been preparing for the performances this week during the 4-H Performing Arts Preparation Camp in Aberdeen.
