Officials have launched a $2 million hospital expansion in Tyndall.
Ground was broken Tuesday for the 7,000-square-foot project at St. Michael's Hospital-Avera. The addition will include 12 patient rooms, an outpatient room, a nurse's station, a pharmacy and a chapel.
Human Resources Director Ginger Peschl says the addition should be finished early next year.
