Some federal help is on its way to Vermillion to help the community deal with last Spring's Gateway layoffs.
Hundreds of Gateway workers lost their jobs earlier this year at three KELOLAND locations. Now, Vermillion is getting a $24,000 federal grant. The money will help evaluate the town's economic opportunities and develop a plan for future business growth and job creation.
