Plankinton School Closer To Rebuilding
July 9, 2001, 6:31 AM
The Plankinton School District is getting closer to rebuilding.
The school was destroyed by an explosion and fire last November. Two employees were killed.
Since the explosion, the school disaster fund has received numerous donations. The most recent fund-raiser, a poker run and raffle, raised ten thousand dollars.
All of the money will go toward a new school. The district plans to build on the north edge of town.
