Voting centers are becoming a familiar way for Sioux Falls residents to cast their ballots in citywide elections.
You can vote at any one of 13 centers that will be open for Tuesday's election. The first joint city-school board election to use voting centers was two years ago. And the city clerk's office says the centers have been a success because of the convenience to voters.
“We really like the vote center concept because the citizens can go to any vote center. They do not have to go to near where they live, they can go to any one of the centers whether it's close to their home, their work, they're out running errands,” City Clerk Lorie Hogstad said.
The voting centers use an electronic check-in, so be sure to bring a photo ID when you vote on Tuesday.
You can also vote absentee tomorrow from 8 a.m. to noon at the County Administration Building in downtown Sioux Falls.
