On Monday, crews will begin concrete repairs on West 12th Street from Carolyn Avenue to Kiwanis.
Work will start on the outside eastbound lanes at Carolyn Avenue and head toward Kiwanis.
The next phase will be the outside westbound lanes.
While the lanes will be closed, traffic will be maintained in both directions. Two lanes will be open during the morning and evening hours.
Traffic delays are expected so drivers are urged to find an alternative route.
Other projects are set to begin around the city.
The intersection of 10th Street and Sycamore Avenue will be expanded. Right turn lanes and two left turn lanes will be added. The work will cause some temporary traffic issues in the area.
Russell Street is the third and final project. The work will stretch from Westport Avenue to Minnesota.
