1 Dead In Crash Of Small Plane At Sturgis

STURGIS, SD -
The pilot of a single-engine plane has died after his plane crashed in Sturgis.
The single-engine plane crashed at Sturgis Municipal Airport around 9 a.m. Friday.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Roland Herwig says the pilot was with the Bear Butte Flying Club and was practicing touch-and-go landings when the crash occurred.
The Meade County Sheriff's Office and South Dakota Highway Patrol are responding to the crash.
