The state of Iowa's official Web site has a new look.
Iowa.gov launched its first redesign in five years Tuesday. Officials say the goal of the Web site's design is to make it more inviting and user friendly.
The updated site will feature added menus, news headlines from state agency Web sites and live support.
Governor Chet Culver says Iowa.gov serves as the "front door" of state government for many people. Culver says the updated site is an important communications tool that will help people work with the government.
