South Dakota's three members of the Electoral College have cast their votes for Republican John McCain. McCain carried South Dakota with 53 percent of the vote in the November election, when Democrat Barack Obama was elected president.
Governor Mike Rounds, Lt. Gov. Dennis Daugaard and Attorney General Larry Long signed six copies of official documents at the state Capitol to cast South Dakota's official votes in the presidential election.
The Republican governor says he has some disagreements with the Democratic president-elect, but he expects to work with Obama in a cooperative effort on national issues.
