On December 15, South Dakota's three Electoral College votes will be cast for Sen. John McCain.
The event is scheduled for noon in the Governor's Reception Room in the Capitol.
The three electors who will cast the votes are Gov. Mike Rounds, Lt. Gov. Dennis Daugaard and Attorney General Larry Long.
McCain carried South Dakota over Barack Obama 53 percent to 45 percent.
