Sioux Falls, SD
It wasn't only customers who were happy about getting deep discounts during Crazy Days, stores in downtown Sioux Falls say they are satisfied with the outcome too.
"We love to be able to give our great customers that deal," Child's Play Toys owner Nancy Savage said.
Savage says she did something a little different this year, she started Crazy Days a day early for the stores email and Facebook fans.
"We had a great showing already on Thursday and Friday, with the weather being so beautiful, we were so busy all day and night," Savage said.
She says after a great holiday shopping season, she is very happy with the outcome she's seen during Crazy Days.
"Right now we are just clearing out of things that may not have been our top, top sellers to make room for other things," Savage said. "We got in a whole UPS truck load on Tuesday of this week so we have a lot of new things we need to make room for."
Zandbroz Variety Store says it's also been slashing prices for customers and it's been paying off.
"There has been an increase in our numbers in our store not as much during the holiday season with Christmas and New Years but defiantly more than what would be a typical day," Drew Bartscher at Zandbroz Variety said.
Crazy Day's began on Friday and ended Saturday. The Empire Mall and The Bridges shopping center also participated in the event.
