Two Fargo, North Dakota residents appeared in court Tuesday for a bond hearing regarding stems from the sale of building that were never completed.
Attorney General Marty Jackley says bond was set for 45-year-old George Donald Nelson III and 44-year-old Karla Ann Nelson at $20,000 each.
The Nelsons were indicted by a Hughes County Grand Jury on March 12 on two counts of grand theft by deception and one count of conspiracy to commit an unlawful act.
These charges stem from the sale of metal buildings that were never completed.
The Nelsons use to operate a business in South Dakota and could have used the following names: Baron Buildings, LLC., Baron Steel Buildings, Steel Baron Buildings, Steel Buildings of Georgia and Ag Pro Buildings/Fargo.
This case is being investigated by the Division of Criminal Investigation and Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division.
