Molded Fiber Glass Companies plans to close the plant by February 15, 2018. Wind blade orders will be completed through the end of the year.
The company employs 409 people at the 325,000-square-foot facility. The staff has been notified and will be provided help from MFG and state officials to receive unemployment benefits and job search assistance.
MFG Companies laid off employees earlier this year. The plant's closure is blamed on "changes in market conditions and proposed revisions to tax policies impacting the wind energy industry in the United States."
