Warmer Temps Expected This Week

Many area schools start back up this week, which means summer is winding down. The weather has been relatively cool lately; much of KELOLAND has seen 70s to low 80s for highs over the past week. Looking ahead to this week, we can expect highs to warm up but only to the climate average.

The current outlook has a mid-level low passing by in southern Canada. This low looks to pull up warmer temperatures into KELOLAND, but these temperatures will only return KELOLAND to the climate average.

The current outlook also has eastern KELOLAND reaching the low to mid-80s where the climate average is around 82 degrees. Central and western KELOLAND, where the climate average is around 87 degrees, is expected to get a little warmer with highs in mid-80s to around 90.
