The Wild Ride Of March Weather

Weather changes quickly in March, and this year is no exception.

After the snow, the cold settled in with highs Monday and Tuesday about 15 to 25 degrees cooler than average across eastern KELOLAND.  With the cold air sticking in central and eastern KELOLAND for Wednesday, it will be a full week with temperatures below average.

Here's a breakdown of roller coaster ride of temperatures so far this month:

We started the month with a couple of days below average.  That quickly turned around with highs at or above average for a 4 to 6 day stretch, then the cold and snow arrived and we're in our current cold spell.

When you average the days high temperatures, we're only a couple of degrees below average.  With some of the coldest air in eastern KELOLAND.

We'll return above average later this week with well above average high expected on Sunday.  However, early indications are suggesting another hit of cold air on the way late next week.
