Roller Coaster Temperatures Across KELOLAND

If you think back to August, temperatures were quite pleasant. It almost felt like fall!

Then we turned the page on August and went into September and summer was back. Highs bounced right back to the 90s to near triple digits again. Yet, we have had cool spells that dropped our temperatures back to that fall-like weather but a couple of days later, we bounced right back to the 80s and 90s. So what does the rest of September look like?

The current forecast has us going back to the 50s and 60s this weekend with another warm spell next week early next week. Then we cool back right back down to the 70s then 60s to finish the week into next weekend.

When that cooler air comes back, so does the wind and rain. Early estimation of wind gusts peak over 50 to 60 mph! And with the proximity of the projected low, we'll need to bring back the thunderstorm chances.

And yes, there are even some thoughts of snow in the mountains and higher elevations.

So enjoy the roller coaster that will be the temperatures over the next couple weeks and summer and fall will keep making appearances.
