Parts of KELOLAND have been under the gun for severe weather all week. And while many of us have had a short break, more severe weather may be headed your way.
Friday morning, the storm prediction center issued a slight chance for severe weather for Saturday that runs from 7 a.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday.
The upper level flow will flatten out creating a better chance for more elevated storms, which is good because that lowers the chance for a tornado outbreak. So if that plays out, then KELOLAND will see more storm cells with high damaging winds and large hail. It also means some areas could see locally heavy rainfall.
Saturday does look to be warm again before the storms arrive in the afternoon and evening hours and last during the overnight hours.
