Get used to the gray skies and rain for the next couple of days. In fact, heavy rain is looking likely in southeast KELOLAND through Wednesday.
The forecast outlook calls for rain through Wednesday. Some of the highest totals will be in central to southeast KELOLAND with amounts over two or three inches possible.
This is a lot different than what happened last month where many in KELOLAND had well below average rainfall. So, any rain that falls will be beneficial to most.
It will be interesting to see if this ends up being a bookend summer. Meaning, most locations went from a wet June at the beginning of summer to a dry July in the middle of summer and then back to a wet August at the end of summer. We'll find out in less than four weeks.
