SDSU Fans Get Ready To Head To Michigan

brookings, sd

A group of South Dakota State University fans are up early and ready to take the trek to Michigan Wednesday morning.

Fans loaded a bus in Brookings near the Swiftel Center around 5:30 a.m. And despite the early morning, the energy in the bus was high. Fans were yelling ‘Go Jacks’ as they boarded the bus.

Loaded with Jackrabbit gear, the bus will leave Brookings Wednesday morning, make a few stops to pick up loyal fans and then head to Auburn Hills, MI. And the bus is expected to be completely full before it leaves South Dakota.

These fans are traveling to a highly talked-about game. Two of college basketball’s best point guards will meet on the court for first round play of the NCAA Tournament. SDSU’s Nate Wolters will face the University of Michigan’s Trey Burke.

And although they are the underdog, Jacks fans are confident their team can pull off a win.

The men play Thursday at 6 p.m. and you’ll be able to watch that game on KELO-TV.

And, the women Jackrabbits will play on Saturday in Boulder, CO.
