Sunday Boredom Busters

Nearly two-dozen of the area's finest artists are showing their works today at the Artists of the Plains Art Show and Sale.
The 30th annual event is the longest-running art show and sale in the region.
It's taking place at the Holiday Inn City Centre in downtown Sioux Falls from 10 am to 3:30 pm.
Admission is free.

Young anglers are invited to Lake Alvin State Park for "First Catch," a free kids ice fishing event.
The first 100 kids get a free rod and reel.
All fishing equipment is furnished.
Registration is from noon to one.
The fishing goes from one to four.

The Sioux Falls RV Expo Sale is taking place today in the Expo Building at the Sioux Empire Fairgrounds.
It goes from 10:00 am to 4 pm.
The cost of admission goes to the "The Power of Hope Orphanage" in Haiti.

Join Mickey Mouse and all his friends at Playhouse Disney Live! at the Sioux Falls Arena.
Show times are 1:30 and 4:30 pm.
Tickets range from $15.50 to $50.50.

Next door at the Sioux Falls Convention Center is the Winterfest of Wheels indoor showcase of cars, trucks and motorcycles.
It starts at 10:00 am and features seminars and even a special room for women only called "Ditch Your Man."
Admission is $8, free for kids 12-and-under.

A highly-acclaimed play about the horrors of domestic violence called W@RN will be performed today at the Jeschke Fine Arts Center on the campus of the University of Sioux Falls.
The performance is at 2:00 in Meredith Auditorium.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for students.

American Legion Post 17 is hosting a pancake feed to raise money for Honor Flight South Dakota.
The feed goes from 8:30 am to 1 pm at the American Legion in Watertown.
Tickets are $4 a person, $10 for the entire family.
