Sunday Boredom Busters

It's the largest Christian music festival in the country.
LifeLight wraps up its three-day run today at Wild Water West.
Gates open at ten.
LifeLight is free. 

You can watch part of LifeLight today on our sister station My UTV, cable channel ten.
The LifeLight Community Worship Service will be broadcast live beginning at eleven this morning.
The hour-and-a-half long service is sponsored by Central Baptist Church. 

Sesame Street Live "When Elmo Grows Up" features two performances today at the Sioux Falls Arena.
Show times are at one pm and 4:30 pm.
Tickets go from $12.50 to $25.50. 

Enjoy a day of fun at the South Dakota State Fair in Huron.
Events get underway at eight this morning.
Fair admission is five dollars for adults.
Tonight's featured grandstand show is the "Motor City Madman," rock-and-roller, Ted Nugent.
The fair runs through Monday. 

The late Ritchie Valens will be among those inducted into the Iowa Rock-and-Roll Hall of Fame today in Arnolds Park.
Valens was killed in a plane crash near Mason City in February, 1959... in what became know as "the day the music died."
Events get underway with a breakfast at nine at the Arnolds Park Pavilion.
An induction ceremony and concert begins at five pm in the Roof Garden.

And you're running out of chances to see the free Sound and Light Show at Falls Park.
See the history of Sioux Falls dramatized in digital sound and laser lights tonight, a half-hour past sunset.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair.
The final sound and light show of the summer takes place Monday night.
