Sunday Boredom Busters

The Sioux Empire Fair wraps up today at the W-H Lyon Fairgrounds.
Activities get underway at eight with a goat show.
Midway rides and 4-H exhibits start at noon.
There's a youth talent contest at one.
A kid's pedal pull is at three.
Lawnmower races will be held in the grandstand at three-thirty.
The fair wraps up with a Hispanic Festival from six to ten.
Admission to the fair is five-dollars.

The 129th Turner County Fair doesn't officially get underway until Monday.
But there are activities taking place in Parker today
The Chancellor Reformed Church Praise and Worship Group performs at eleven in Heritage Park.
A ranch rodeo gets out of the chute at two at the grandstands.
Admission is six-dollars for adults and three dollars for children.

I-90 Speedway east of Hartford is hosting Remote Control Racing.
The racing begins at noon and its free to watch.

The Sioux Falls Canaries will play a double header today to make up for Saturday's rainout against the Sioux City Explorers.
The first game starts at 1:05.
Tickets go from six dollars to ten dollars.
