Sunday Boredom Busters

A country music legend performs in Sioux Falls today.

The Dakota Opry presents "Gene Watson Live" at the Expo Building at the Sioux Empire Fairgrounds. The first performance is at 1, followed by another at 4 p.m.  Tickets are available at the fairgrounds box office at 367-7178.

Prairie Village in Madison is hosting the 45th Steam Threshing Jamboree.  More than 33 tractors are on display.  There will also be free entertainment at the Lawrence Welk Opera House, plus food, train rides and a flea market.

Enjoy some high-flying fun during the Wheels and Wings Weekend at the Aberdeen Aiport today.  The gates open for the air show at 10 a.m.  The opening ceremonies are at 11 a.m.

There's going to be a quilt auction and a groundbreaking at the Joy Ranch near Watertown today.

A worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. followed by the groundbreaking at 1, followed by the auction at 2. Proceeds will support camping programs of Lutherans Outdoors in South Dakota.  Joy Ranch is located seven miles northwest of Watertown on Highway 20.

If you're hungry for breakfast this morning, there's a Belgian waffle feed at the Little Rock, Iowa City hall from 9:30 to 1.  All the money will go to the Little Rock First Presbyterian Church Mission Fund.

And the Siouxland Sports Car Club is hosting another autocross at the Sioux Empire Fairgrounds. Registration is at 10, the races start at noon.  It's $25 to race, free to watch.
