Better chances for snow will move in for Sunday and Monday as a larger storm system works into the area. This snow system could bring a several inches of snow to parts of KELOLAND. Temperatures will continue to fall on Sunday with the thermometer bottoming out on Tuesday with single digit highs.
Temperatures will slowly rebound by the end of the week but it takes time to move this bitterly cold air. Expect 20s and 30s again by Friday. The weather also looks pretty quiet for the end of the week.
After an amazing finish to the work week, cold air will slowly sink into KELOLAND over the weekend. Many areas are starting the day pretty mild, though we expect temperatures to fall through the day. We will also see a slight chance of some light snow as the cold air works in. The best chance for this will be in NW and Central SD.
