Many side streets and county roads are still snow packed and slippery as plows across South Dakota continue to clear off snow and ice from the roads.
According to Safe Travel USA
, most major roads and highways in South Dakota have scattered slick spots.
In Sioux Falls, crews have been plowing emergency routes and are now working on side streets. In Zone 2, north and south streets will start being plowed at 8 a.m. Tuesday. Crews have already been working on east and west streets since 8 p.m. Monday. But some of those roads still have compacted snow and ice on them, making them slick.
