Saturday Boredom Busters

Trapper Joe and Trigger Tommy from the History Channel's "Swamp People" are scheduled to appear at today's Winterfest of Wheels in the Sioux Falls Convention Center.
Today's hours are from 10 am to 9 pm; Sunday times are 10 am to 4 pm.
Admission is $9, free for kids 12 and under.
Weekend passes are available for $15.
Winterfest of Wheels is a fundraiser for the local Cure Kids Cancer.

The Dancing Grape is an evening of wine tasting at the Old Courthouse Museum in downtown Sioux Falls from 7-10 pm.
Admission is $20 a person, or $35 a couple.
Part of the proceeds will go to the Children's Care Hospital & School.
The rest goes to the MDC Boosters dance teams trip to a national competition.

The Sioux Falls Skyforce basketball team is hosting Military Night during its game against the Canton Charge at the arena.
Skyforce players will wear camouflage jerseys that will be auctioned during the game.
Medal of Honor winner Sergeant First Class Leroy A. Petry will be recognized for his service during a halftime ceremony.
Tipoff is 7:05 pm.

Laughter might be the best gift for your Valentine this year.
Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage is a seminar taking place at Mercy Church from 9 am to 12:30 pm.
Admission is $18 for singles, $35 for couples.
Mercy Church is located at 2100 Ralph Rogers Road in Sioux Falls.

Spearfish United Methodist Church is hosting a Valentine Dinner & Concert starting at 6:30 pm.
The concert, featuring Kenny Putnam and Boyd Bristow begins at 7:45 pm.
Tickets are $25 for the barbeque pork loin dinner and concert, $15 for the concert only.
All proceeds will benefit youth summer missions and camps.
Spearfish United Methodist is located at 845 N. 5th Street in Spearfish.

More than 100 vendors and dealers have millions of dollars in inventory priced to move at the 30th annual Northern Plains Outdoor Expo at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center in Rapid City this weekend.
Admission is $7 for adults, $4 for kids ages 6-15.
A weekend pass costs $10.
Proceeds will benefit several Rapid City-area charities.

Sioux Falls Director of Parks & Recreation Don Kearney is the featured speaker at Mayor Mike Huether's Listening & Learning Session.
It's at the Whisk & Chop located at 108 South Minnesota Avenue beginning at 9 am.
