The Avera Race Against Breast Cancer is a fundraiser to enhance cancer care in Sioux Falls and surrounding communities.
Participants can take part in events ranging from a 10K run to a 1.5-mile family fun walk.
Activities underway at 8 am at the Avera McKennan Fitness Center on Southeastern Avenue.

The United States Submarine Veterans along with the World War II Submarine Veterans are hosting a memorial Saturday at the USS Scorpion Memorial on the banks of the Missouri River in Yankton.
The memorial goes from noon to 1 pm and includes an honor guard retiring colors, speakers, plus the recognition of World War II veterans for their service.
The memorial ends with a wreath tossed into the river.
Everyone is then invited to the Yankton VFW for lunch afterward to hear more stories from veterans.
The Minnehaha County Master Gardeners are hosting their annual plant sale from 9-11 am in the Domestic Arts Building at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds.
The sale features a variety of annuals, perennials, vegetables and house plants.
