Saturday Boredom Busters

Walkers and bicyclists will be raising money to help find a cure for diabetes.
StepOut: Walk to Stop Diabetes is at the Sanford Center located at 2301 E. 60th Street North.
Cycling registration begins at 10 am.
Walker registration is at 1 pm.
Your $100 dollar fundraising minimum will get you into the 3 pm celebration as well as a free t-shirt.

Bring Fido to the American Cancer Society's Bark for Life at the Spencer Dog Park at Interstate 29 and Cliff Avenue in Sioux Falls.
Activities get underway at 10 am and include a lap around the park to honor cancer survivors, plus best costume and cutest trick contests.
Last year, more than 75 dogs helped raise $3,000 to benefit cancer research.

The National Association of Letter Carriers will be holding its annual Food Drive today.
You can leave your non-perishable food items by your mailbox and your carrier will pick them up while dropping off your mail.
The donations will will go help your local food bank.

Check out the latest trends in home design during the Spring Parade of Homes this weekend.
You can visit new homes in Sioux Falls and surrounding communities from 1-5 pm today and Sunday.
There's a $5 admission to see the featured home, all the other homes are free to tour.

The Twin Cities folk band Murphey's Midnight Rounders will perform a free concert today at the McKennan Park amphitheater.
The concert goes from 2-5 pm.

Celebrate International Migratory Bird Day at the Pipestone National Monument in Minnesota.
There will be kids activities to learn about birds from 9 am to noon.
