Saturday Boredom Busters

Spruce up your home with some antiques after shopping at the 55th Semi-Annual Antique Show and Sale today.
You can find the show at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds Exhibition Building in Sioux Falls. Today's show starts at 10 and doors close at 6 tonight. Tickets are available at local antique stores & from Historical Society members. The show is 3 dollars in advance, 4 dollars at the door. 

Enjoy a turkey supper at a Harvest Celebration at Wesley United Methodist Church. The Feed begins at 4:30 this afternoon. There will be turkey and the fixins'...including homemade desserts. The annual supper ends at 7. 

Tonight at 7 head out to the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds to watch the Sioux Falls Roller Dollz in action. Proceeds from the Roller Derby will go to the Sioux Falls Humane Society. Last year the Dollz raised thousands of dollars for The Banquet, the Rape and Domestic Abuse Center, and the Bowden Youth Center. 

From 7 to 11 tonight head out to the Paws to Celebrate Wine and Dine Event at Graham Automotive in Sioux Falls. The Humane Society Event will feature over 40 wines and 20 beers to sample, dance music, food, and a live and silent auction. Tickets are 50 dollars. 100 percent of the proceeds benefit the Humane Society's spay and neuter program. 

Today from 4 to 7 at Grand Valley Lutheran Church in Canton, head out to the Harvest Festival Extravaganza. Enjoy a soup and pie supper, entertainment, a bake sale and crafts. 

Today Run for Rita...a young KELOLAND woman and mother who died from cancer 2 years ago. The event begins at one this afternoon in Sioux Falls at Pasley Park. There will be a 10K Run, 5K Run and 1K Walk. Registration is 10 dollars for children, 20 dollars for adults. All proceeds raised will go to a family battling cancer.
