Saturday Boredom Busters

It's Easter for Kids from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the Good Shepard Lutheran Church. Kids three years through 5th grade are invited to attend this two hour event. It's free. Children will enjoy crafts, fun, and a light lunch as they celebrate Easter early.

It's a Lil' Dragons Only Martial Art Tournament at the Sioux Falls Martial Arts Academy starting at 1:00 PM. Kids ages three to five will be the only ones competing for top titles. Each child will receive a medal and free lunch.

If you need some help or just want to make sure your car seat is keeping your kids safe there's a free car seat check at the Sioux Falls Fire Station on 37th Street and Minnesota Avenue. From 2:30 to 5:30 PM stop down and get some advice.

If you are in the market for diamonds this weekend could be the best to spend those big bucks. Rogers Jewelry in the Empire Mall is donating 10% of all sales through Sunday to benefit Cure Kids Cancer.

Looking to relax and learn more about the things you care about? It's called Pamper YourSelf and it's happening from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at South Dakota Furniture Mart in the Western Mall. It's a free event.

If you would like to hear some motivation speakers it's a Saturday For Me from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. Tickets are $30.

Jeans 'N Classics is happening at the Washington Pavilion tonight starting at 8:00 PM. It's a show of the timeless hits of the Beatles. Tickets run from $15 to $60.

Maybe basketball is more your thing. The Sioux Falls Skyforce take on the Austin Toros tonight at the Arena. Tip off is 7:00 PM and tickets range from $5 to $75.

The Worthing Fire Department is hosting a Soup and Pie Supper tonight at the Worthing Legion Hall. From 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM fill up a bowl. Free will donations will be accepted.

The Rapid City NRA is hosting a fundraiser tonight at the Ramkota. There'll be dinner, a raffle, games and a silent auction. Fun begins at 5:30 PM and tickets are $30.

High School students are invited to the Annual Spinster Dance tonight from 8:30 PM to 12:00 AM at the YWCA. $15 gets you in the doors or $25 for a couple.

It's Earth Hour tonight. From 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM the World Wildlife Fund is asking you to turn off your lights and live by candle light. 

Today is the What Grows Around Comes Around consignment sale. There'll be clothes, books and toys for infants to kids size 20 as well as maternity items.  A portion of the proceeds are donated to Children's Miracle Network. It's happening at All Occasions in Tea from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
