Seven National Park Service employees will soon be moving into new office space in Hot Springs.
The office will house the Park Service Midwest Region West Servicing Human Resources Office.
The move comes after Park Service reduced the number of offices nationwide from 74 to 23. The staff is responsible for processing employment-related materials and recruitment activities. The office is not designed to provide walk-in service for people seeking employment.
Hot Springs Mayor Don De Vries said it's a positive anytime the town gains workers and fills an empty building.
