Dozens of people laced up their shoes Saturday morning for the Parkinson Association of South Dakota's Moving Day.
The event, which has been held outdoors in past years, was moved to the Western Mall this year. Victims of the disease, along with family and friends showed up today, to support the cause.
"To me it's a personal cause, my mother was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, so to me it shows support for our family and our community," Co-Chair of Moving Day Sarah Campbell said.
The event not only was for people who wanted to walk. A movement stage was also setup to teach people with the disease different stretches and exercises.
