Men Honored As Heroes For Saving Man From Fire

Sheriff Mike Milstead says they risked their lives to save a neighbor. Today, two Minnehaha County heroes received a standing ovation. One week ago today, Carlyle "Bud" Rea and Sopheap Chheng noticed smoke, heard a man moaning and crawled inside a burning home to save him. On their third try, they got him out and saved his life. The two friends, don't consider themselves heroes, but the county does. Today the Sheriff honored them with plaques. We'll hear from both of the men tonight on KELOLAND News.
