A man jailed in Iowa has been indicted in the December 30 killing of a Sioux Falls man.
Eighteen-year-old Samuel Lint of Sioux Falls is charged with premeditated murder, first-degree murder and two counts of robbery for allegedly stealing a wallet and marijuana from 19-year-old Michael Stevens.
Stevens' body was found in a car at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds in Sioux Falls on January 4. Authorities say he had been shot three times with a 20-gauge shotgun.
Lint was arrested January 11 on drug charges in northwest Iowa and taken to the jail in Milford, Iowa.
Minnehaha County State's Attorney Aaron McGowan says his office is beginning the process of bringing Lint back to South Dakota to face the charges against him.
