The Sioux Falls driver who struck and killed a bicyclist on East 10th Street in May has pleaded guilty to the crime.
David Kinner was originally charged with vehicular homicide, manslaughter and DUI for driving under the influence of prescription drugs.
On Thursday, Kinner pleaded guilty to second degree manslaughter and no contest to his DUI charge.
The May crash killed James McInnes, a father of two who was on his way to a Mother's Day celebration.
Kinner could face nearly a year in jail and suspended prison time under the plea agreement.
