The firm hired to study naming rights for a proposed Sioux Falls Events Center says the city can make up to $48 million over the next 20 years.
The city of Sioux Falls spent $65,000 on a consultant to study the economic impact in sponsoring a new building. The Superlative Group from Cleveland, Ohio, says the money is definitely there.
"We know there's revenue in a new facility. We think your title sponsorship, your naming rights, your premium sponsorship categories, your premium seating and your additional local sponsorships will bring you significant revenue," Myles Gallagher with Superlative Group said.
Gallagher says naming rights on the outside of the building could bring in as much as $13 million alone.
