Southwest South Dakota had a taste of winter on Tuesday. Snowfall totals ranged from an inch to as much as four inches in Fall River and Shannon Counties.
While we didn't get snow in southeast KELOLAND Wednesday morning, light rain quickly gave way to sunshine. But you can definitely feel the chill in the air. The cold air will sweep across KELOLAND Wednesday night with many locations falling down into the teens and lower twenties by Thursday morning.
When looking at the average highs and lows, Sioux Falls average low doesn't get into the teens until the 22 of November. But over the past 21 years, Sioux Falls usually has an overnight low in the teens on November 2, so if the teens greet you as you walk out the door Thursday morning, remember it's right on target.
