The attorney for a woman accused of using a knife and a machete to try to rob two Rapid City casinos last summer wants a judge to disallow police interrogation tapes at trial because of poor quality.
The attorney for Julia Peters says the majority of the audio and video recording can't be understood. Prosecutors say they are working to fix the recording. Judge Mary Thorstenson did not immediately decide on the request.
Peters is accused of trying to rob the two casinos in early July, then dyeing her hair to try to elude authorities.
