Casino Robbed At Gunpoint Early Sunday

Sioux Falls, SD

A Sioux Falls casino was robbed at gunpoint early Sunday morning.

Just before 1 a.m., Sioux Falls Police responded to Happy Jacks Casino, 1915 W. 12th St, for an armed robbery. Casino employees reported two men entered the business wearing bandanas, one armed with a handgun. Suspect #1 ordered the clerk at gunpoint to lay down on the floor. The suspect proceeded to removed the till from the register. Suspect #2 approached two customers and told them to face away from Suspect #1.

Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 5'8" to 5'10" with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a white long-sleeved shirt with a black bandana covering his face. Casino employees described Suspect #2 as a male with possibly a blue bandana on his face.

No one was injured during the robbery. The suspects fled in an unknown direction and are still at large.
