An injured high school player from Minnesota has moved onto the next stage of his recovery.
Trenton Bass was discharged from in-patient rehabilitation at Craig Hospital in suburban Denver. He is now in a transitional program where his parents will take care of him in Colorado under the hospital's supervision before the family heads back to Hills.
During balance and mobility tests on Wednesday, Trenton was able to move his head from side to side without a neck brace.
The family's goal is to have Trenton back home by Christmas.
