Sunday Boredom Busters, April 29th

Pink Ladies Kickin' Cancer Jam features local bands playing at the El Riad Shrine in downtown Sioux Falls.    The music starts at 1 p.m.  There will also be a dart tournament raffles, a silent auction and bake sale.  All proceeds help local families affected by cancer.

The 40-member Association of Free Lutheran Bible School Choir will perform a concert at the Overtime Event Center in Mitchell, SD.  The concert, hosted by Amazing Grace Free Lutheran Church, will be at 11 a.m.  A fellowship meal will follow.  The Overtime Event Center is located at 812 N. Rowley.
  
The South Dakota Symphony Orchestra performs a Stained Glass Concert at First Congregational Church in Sioux Falls.  The music starts at 2:30 p.m.  First Congregational is located at 300 S. Minnesota Avenue.

The Augustana Unversity Trombone Choir performs a free concert in Kresge Recital Hall on the Augie campus.  The performance is at 3 p.m.  

A Dad's Belgian Waffle Brunch will raise funds for the senior center in Pipestone, MN.  Serving time is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Leo's Catholic Church Hall in Pipestone.  Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children, free for kids five and under.

Gourmet Guys is a cooking competition that raises funds for Active Generations.  Sample food and enjoy complimentary beverages from 4:30 to 7 p.m.  The cost is $45.  Active Generations is located at 2300 West 46th Street in Sioux Falls.

Films playing at the Wells Fargo CineDome in the Washington Pavilion include Amazon Adventure and Mysteries of China.

New in theaters Avengers: Infinity War, rated PG-13.
