The LifeLight Christian music festival wraps up today near Worthing, south of Sioux Falls. Main stage activities include a worship service at 11:45 a.m., Hank Erwin performs at 12:15 p.m., followed by Shawn McDonald at 2 p.m., VOTA at 2:45 p.m., Jenny & Tyler at 3:15 p.m., Ginny Owens at 3:45 p.m., Burlap to Cashmere at 5 p.m., Moriah Peters at 6:15 p.m., Colton Dixon at 7:30 p.m., LifeLight founder Alan Greene speaks at 8:30 p.m., Matthew West closes out LifeLight at 9:30 p.m.
Today is Constructing a Legacy Day at the South Dakota State Fair in Huron. Visit the Constructing a Legacy Tent along Flag Avenue and reunite with longtime fairgoers and 4-H alumni. Fair admission is $6 for adults, $4 for youth. Carnival rides go from 10 a.m. to midnight. A daily ride wristband costs $25. Headline band Huey Lewis & the News performs in the grandstand at 8 p.m. The state fair runs through Monday.
The defending Clark Cup champions Sioux Falls Stampede open pre-season play when they host the Brookings Blizzard of the NAHL. The two teams drop the puck at 7:05 p.m. at the SCHEELS IcePlex. Tickets are $10. A portion of each ticket sold will benefit Sioux Falls Youth Hockey and the Junior Stampede programs.
The baseball season is rapidly winding down for the Sioux Falls Canaries. The Canaries take on the Joplin Blasters at the Birdcage. First pitch is 4:05 p.m. The final game of the season is Monday at noon.
Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy live music and wine at Renner's Strawbale Winery. Sangria Sunday goes from 1-4 p.m. Admission is $5 a carload.
Find your way through an 11 acre corn maze in the design of a turkey at Heartland Country Corn Maze. Today's hours are from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is $7, $5 for kids, free for ages 4 and under. The Heartland Country Corn Maze is located just southeast of Harrisburg, on Highway 11
Films playing at the Wells Fargo CineDome in the Washington Pavilion include Jurassic World, Tomorrowland, Tornado Alley and Living in the Age of Airplanes.
New Hollywood releases playing at a theater near you include The Transporter Refueled, rated PG-13 and a Walk in the Woods, rated R.
Enjoy National Sprint League racing at Huset's Speedway in Brandon. The races start at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults, $5 for juniors, free for kids 7 and younger.
