Sunday Boredom Busters

The final day of Frosty Frolics includes the KELO-TV All-Age Ski Races at Great Bear Recreation Park in Sioux Falls.  Registration goes from 9 a.m. to noon. The races start at 1 p.m. Memorial Ice Rink is the site of a Carnival on Ice from 1-3 p.m. featuring winter mini-golf plus photos with Frosty the Snowman and players with the Stampede hockey team. Sleigh rides will be provided by McCrossan Boys Ranch.

You can see the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House before its official opening. Public tours of the shelter will be held from 2-4 p.m. The Bishop Dudley House is located at 101 N. Indiana. The facility will welcome its first guests Monday night.

A portion of sales during the Prom Xtravaganza at Elegant Xpressions will go to the Children's Miracle Network. The Prom Xtravaganza goes from noon to 4 p.m. Elegant Xpressions is located at 57th and Western in Sioux Falls.

NFL divisional playoff action on KELOLAND-TV features the Indianapolis Colts against the Denver Broncos. Game time is 3:30 p.m. Central.

Learn about the postal history of Moody County during a free talk at the annual meeting of the Moody County Historical Society.  The meeting gets underway at 2 p.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Flandreau.

It's your final chance to see holiday lights at Falls Park. Winter Wonderland wraps up its free nightly light display tonight.

Cinema Falls presents the documentary CITIZENFOUR at West Mall 7 Theaters in Sioux Falls. The doors open at 2 p.m.  The film begins at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $11.50.

The Nostalgia Night Film Series is showing Coal Miner's Daughter at the Elks Theatre in Rapid City. Show time is 6:30 p.m.

Movies playing at the Wells Fargo CineDome in the Washington Pavilion include Interstellar, The Boxtrolls, Jerusalem and Tiny Giants.

New Hollywood releases playing at a theater near you include Selma and Taken, both rated PG-13.
