Sunday Boredom Busters

Get your fill of flapjacks at the annual Pancake Benefit for LifeScape.  Serving time is 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.  Tickets are $6.  Kids 5 and under eat free. 

The director of the South Dakota State Railroad Museum discusses Railroading in Territorial Times at the Old Courthouse Museum in downtown Sioux Falls.  Lifelong railroading enthusiast Rick Mills' Power Point presentation begins at 2 pm.

The Tea American Legion is serving a pancake, French toast, sausage & egg breakfast from 9 am to noon.  The cost is a free will donation.  All proceeds will benefit the American Legion's Scholarship Fund.

Benson's Flea Market features more than 30-thousand square feet of shopping in the Expo Building of the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds.  Today's hours are from 11 am to 4 pm.  The cost is $2 for adults, free for kids 12 and under.

St. Leo's Catholic Church in Pipestone, MN is serving a Belgian Waffle Breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The cost is $8 for adults, $5 for children, free for ages 5 and under.  Carry-outs are available.  The breakfast is a fundraiser for the Pipestone Senior Center.

Zion United Methodist Church in Beresford is serving a Roast Beef Dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children and free for ages 4 and under.  Carry-outs are available.  Zion United Methodist is located one block south of Fiesta Foods in Beresford.

Dino-Roars features 19 life-like dinosaurs on display in the Delbridge Museum of Natural History at the Great Plains Zoo.  Dino-Roars is open daily through May 3rd.  The cost is $3,   plus a zoo admission.  You can also purchase a Dino Membership for unlimited visits.

Cinema Falls presents Kumiko, The Treasure Hunter, rated PG-13, at the West Mall 7 Theaters in Sioux Falls.  Some scenes from this dark comedy were filmed in Minnesota.  The movie plays at 6 p.m.

Films playing at the Wells Fargo CineDome in the Washington Pavilion include Chappie, Paddington, Tornado Alley and Living in the Age of Airplanes.

New Hollywood releases playing at a theater near you include Woman in Gold and The Longest Ride, both rated PG-13.
