SD DOT To Begin Work On Highway 37

Mitchell, SD

On Monday, SD DOT will begin working on the southbound lanes of Highway 37, north of Mitchell.

Crews will be replacing bridge approach slabs and guardrail on the structure that spans the James River.

Traffic will be down to one lane in the southbound lane and reduced speed limits of 55 mph in the closure areas and 45 mph when workers are present.

Work is expected to be finished by October 10.
