The Avera Race Against Breast Cancer is celebrating 30 years of funding vital programs for patients will all types of cancer. Activities are taking place at the Avera McKennan Fitness Center in Sioux Falls. The 10K race begins at 8 a.m. The 5K starts at 8:15 a.m. The 1.5 and 3 mile walks begin at 8:20 a.m.
The Pink in the City Shopping Expo at the Sioux Falls Convention Center supports the Edith Sanford Breast Foundation. You can do your Mother's Day shopping from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will also be an autographed Miranda Lambert guitar raffle and on-site mammograms.
The Cinco de Mayo Fiesta at Falls Park features kids inflatables, piñatas, balloon twisting, food, live music even a chihuahua fashion show. The fiesta goes from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is free. The fiesta is a benefit for Caminando Juntos ministries of the Presentation Sisters.

Sioux Falls Curling is hosting their Spring League Grand Championship Tournament at the SCHEELS IcePlex. The championship round goes from 2:30 to 8 p.m. The tournament is free to watch. The concession stand will be open.
Coborn's employee-owned grocery store in Mitchell, SD is hosting a Kickoff to Summer featuring a car show, horse rides, vendors, inflatables, food, music and raffles. The hours are from noon to 3 p.m.
The event is a fundraiser for Helping with Horsepower and Team Rubicon. Coborn's is located at 1800 North Main in Mitchell.
The Falls Park Farmer's Market is open for another season featuring fresh flowers, bread, local meats and tender greens for sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Farmer's Market is open every Saturday through October.
Enjoy story time and an animal encounter during the Bookworms Reading Program at the Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls. The program starts at 1 p.m. in the KELOLAND Education Center.
The Sioux Falls Storm indoor football team takes on the Nebraska Danger at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. Kickoff is at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are available at the KELOLAND Box Office.

The Spring Parade of Homes features more than 75 new homes on display this weekend and next weekend. The homes are located in Sioux Falls, Brandon, Harrisburg, Tea and Crooks. The hours are from 1-5 p.m. All homes are free to tour except the two Feature Homes are $5 each. The proceeds will go to the Home Builders Care Foundation.
