Saturday Boredom Busters, March 10th

The Outdoor Living Expo at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds includes vendors offering the newest in outdoor living products from landscaping, outdoor kitchens, pool & spa and gardening.  The Expo runs from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Expo Building.  Sunday's hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Admission is $7, free for children 12 and under.
  
Check out the latest in boating, camping and vacationing during the Sioux Empire Sportsmen's Show at the Sioux Falls Convention Center and Arena.  Saturdays seminars include a kids' fishing workshop at 11 a.m., Wolf Logic 101 at noon, Weeds for Walleyes at 1 p.m., secrets to put you closer to mature bucks at 2:15 p.m. and fishing electronics at 4 p.m.  The Sportsmen's Show runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.  Admission is $9, $2.50 for children, free for ages five and under.

The Sioux Falls ice Classic features 130 skaters from South Dakota and Minnesota performing and competing a the SCHEELS IcePlex.  The Ice Classic is hosted by the Sioux Falls Figure Skating Club and includes individual, couples, trios and family ensembles.  Saturdays hours are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.  Sundays hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.  

All items are marked at $10 or less during the Dress for Success Spring Closet Sale this weekend.  Purchase items Saturday and get a bag to fill for only $10 on Sunday.  Proceeds from the sale Dress for Success Sioux Falls.  Saturdays hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Sundays hours are noon to 4 p.m.  Dress for Success is located at 620 W 18th Street in Sioux Falls.

Baltic Lutheran Church is hosting a Craft & Vendor Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Baltic Old School Gym.  The fair features dozens of booths, a bake sale and door prizes.  Admission is $1.  
  
Best of Show is a jazz choir and high school show competition at Washington High School.  The performances begin at 9:25 a.m. and run through the afternoon.  Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students.

The Museum of Visual Materials is hosting a Storybook Ball featuring prince and princess characters, crafts, treats and dancing.  Girls and boys of all ages are encouraged to dress in their favorite outfits and dresses.  The ball runs from 3-5 p.m.  Tickets are $20.  The Museum of Visual Materials is located at 500 N. Main.

Ephemeral Productions presents the dark comedy Crimes of the Heart at the White Wall Sessions Studio in the Last Stop CD Shop on East 10th Street.  The performance is at 7:30 p.m.  Tickets are $23.  
  
The Stampede hockey team takes on the Chicago Steel at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.  The puck drops at 7:05 p.m.  Tickets are available at the KELOLAND Box Office. 

Check out the 19 life-like dinosaurs on exhibit at Dino-Roars in the Delbridge Museum of Natural History at the Great Plains Zoo.  Hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The cost is $3, plus a zoo admission.   Dino-Roars runs daily through April 15. 

While you're at the zoo, enjoy storytime and an animal encounter at the Bookworms Reading Program at 1 p.m. in the KELOLAND Education Center.
