Saturday Boredom Busters

Enjoy a wide range of Scandinavian delights during the First Lutheran Church Bazaar.  The bazaar features plenty of food, from pies to lefse to rosettes and meatballs.  Special shops include attic treasures, antiques, quilts, linens, wood shops, used books and Christmas gives.  The bazaar goes from 9 am to 3 pm.  First Lutheran Church is located at 12th & Dakota in downtown Sioux Falls.

Gloria Dei Lutheran Church is hosting a Holiday  Bazaar from 9 am to 2 pm.  Shop at the wide variety of vendor booths with proceeds going toward sending the high school youth on a mission trip to Richmond, Virginia.  Gloria Dei Lutheran is located at 57th Street & Highway 11 in southeast Sioux Falls.

Discuss ways of improving your neighborhood during a Neighborhood Summit at the Anne Zabel Studio Theater in the Orpheum Theater Center.  You can discuss important issues facing neighborhoods with Mayor Mike Huether and city staff from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.  A free continental breakfast will be provided.

Shop in Dell Rapids with more than two-dozen vendors at the T'was the Month Before Christmas Fair.  The fair goes from 9 am to 2 pm at Dell Rapids St. Mary High School.  There will be free child care while you shop plus lunch will be available.

Atonement Lutheran Church in Rapid City is hosting a Fall Turkey Supper, Bazaar & Bake Sale.  The bake sale goes from 9 am to 3 pm.  The supper is served from 4-7 pm.  The cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children and free for children under 5.  Atonement Lutheran is located at 602 Auburn Drive in Rapid City.

The Hartley County Crafters Craft Show features a general store theme with handmade crafts and gifts for all occasions. Items can be personalized for the customer.  The craft show goes from 9 am to 3 pm at the Community Center in Hartley, IA.  Refreshments and lunch will be served.

St. Michael School is hosting a Bazaar & Bake Sale from 9 am to 2 pm.  Admission is free.  St. Michael School is located at 26th & Marion in Sioux Falls.

A Book Fair at Barnes & Noble in Sioux Falls will benefit Siouxland Libraries.  The book fair goes from 9 am to 10 pm and includes a storytime, games and a book release party.  A portion of sales will be donated to Siouxland Libraries.  Barnes & Noble is located at 41st & Louise.
