Saturday Boredom Busters

Sioux Falls Curling is hosting a Learn to Curl at the Scheels IcePlex.  Learn the sport of curling starting at 5 p.m.  The cost is $10, $5 for kids.

Tubers can now join the skiers and snowboarders at Great Bear Recreation Park.  The tubing hill is now open.  Great Bear's hours are from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Outdoor skate rinks are open in Sioux Falls.  The rinks are located at Campus, Frank Olson, McKennan, Memorial, Sherman and Tuthill Parks.  The hours are from 1-9 p.m.

The Olde Town Dinner Theatre presents the comedy Nunsense 2: The Second Coming. The performance is at 6:30 p.m.  The $40 admission includes dinner and the show.  The theater is located at 121 S. Main in Worthing, SD.

The Christmas Tree Drop-Off sites are open in Sioux Falls.  The east-side location is on East Chambers Street, next to the Household Hazardous Waste Facility.  The west-side drop-off is on North Lyon Boulevard next the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds.  The hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The sites are open until January 18.   You need to remove all ornaments from your tree.

Benson's Flea Market is a one-stop shop for people of all ages at the Expo Building of the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds in Sioux Falls.  Today's hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Sunday's hours are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Admission is $2, kids 12 and under get in free. 

There's still time to enjoy the outdoor holiday lights at Falls Park.  Winter Wonderland is a free light display running nightly through January 11.
