Sioux Falls, SD
Starting on Monday, crews will begin work on asphalt crack leveling on 49th Street from Cliff Avenue to Southeastern. Traffic will be maintained but lane closures are expected.
Work should be finished by Wednesday.
Also on Monday, crews will be starting work on repairing a gas line. The northbound lane on Cleveland Avenue will be closed north of Tenth Street. Those heading north will use the southbound left turn lane.
Work should be finished by the evening of September 12.
Monday is also the start of road work at the intersection of 47th Street and Terry Avenue. Crews will be working on various road improvements like surfacing and sidewalks.
The intersection should be closed for two to three weeks.
Crews on Monday will begin repairs and restoration on the Emerald Acres Drainage Channel. 69th Street will be down to one lane in each direction from Mustang Avenue to Shadow Ridge.
The work should be finished by mid-October.
On Tuesday, the westbound lane of Tenth Street will be closed east of Western Avenue. Crews will be working on utility repairs. Traffic will be shifted but maintained in both directions. The closure will be removed by 4 p.m. each day.
The work should be finished by the evening of September 12.
