Road Construction Round Up

Sioux Falls, SD

  • Ebenezer Avenue

Starting at 8:30 Monday morning, Ebenezer Avenue will be closed to through traffic north of Ninth Street. There will be a detour to Marion Road.

Crews will be installing new utilities.

The work should be finished by the evening of October 31.

  • North Dakota Avenue

Also on Monday, a portion of the western outside northbound lane of North Dakota Avenue along with a portion of the outside eastbound lane of West Sixth Street, at the intersection, will be closed.

Crews will be repairing an inlet. The other lanes will remain open.

Work should be finished by the evening of October 28.

  • East 50th Street North

Traffic will be reduced to one lane along East 50th Street North, east of North Fourth Avenue on Monday.

Crews will be working on an inlet project. One lane will remain open at all times.

Work is expected to be finished by November 5.

  • 11th Street Downtown

Concrete repairs on 11th Street will begin Monday downtown from Minnesota Avenue to Second Avenue. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained.

Crews expect to be finished in two weeks.

  • 18th Street

On Tuesday, the westbound lane of 18th Street will be closed east of Minnesota Avenue. Those heading west will use the center turn lane.

Crews will be performing utility work. They expect to be finished by October 31.

  • 11th Street

Also on Tuesday, the left eastbound lane on 11th Street will be closed east of Minnesota Avenue. Those heading east will use the center and right lanes. The closure will be removed at the end of each day.

Crews will be remodeling a building.

They expect to be finished by October 31.

  • Benson Road

The outside eastbound lane of Benson Road will be closed east of Cliff Avenue on Tuesday. Those heading east will use the inside eastbound lane.

Crews will be performing utility work. Crews expect to be finished by the evening.
