Rapid City Police Still Searching For Robbery Suspect

Rapid City Police thought they had located the person who robbed Boyds Drug Mart Wednesday morning.

Police had a house in the 1500 block of Degeest in Rapid City surrounded. They thought their suspect was hiding out in the house. When Police entered the house, they found out their suspect was not in the house.

Police are still searching for the suspect that held up Boyds Drug Mart Wednesday morning. Boyds Drug Mart is just a few blocks from the South Dakota School of Mines Campus. An employee was assaulted during the robbery.

The robbery suspect is described as late teens to early 20s, 5'7", with a medium build. The suspect fled the scene in a white Ford Escape.
