Rapid City Citizens' Police Academy Coming Soon

Rapid City, SD

If you've always wondered how law enforcement works behind the scene, the Rapid City police department wants to hear from you.

It's taking applications for its annual Citizens' Police Academy.

The free 13-week course includes working a mock crime scene, time at the gun range and more.

Classes start in September and run once a week in the evening.

You must be at least 21-years-old, have a valid driver's license and pass a background check.
