Authorities are searching for a 19-year-old Harrisburg man in connection with the rape of a 12-year-old girl.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding Obadiah Loyira, who is facing first degree rape and possession and manufacturing child pornography.
Court documents say the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office received a sexual assault report from a 12-year-old girl at Avera McKennan on Friday. The victim told investigators that Loyira, who also goes by the name ‘J’ or ‘JJ,’ took her to a Harrisburg home, raped her, and then took pictures with his cell phone.
A second Sioux Falls man, 20-year-old Elizeo Kalimba, is also facing rape and child pornography charges in connection with the case. Authorities have arrested him and he is being held on a $25,000 bond.
Court documents say Kalimba and Loyira are one of three suspects who were in the home. Authorities are still investigating the third suspect.
Loyira is a black male, 6’0” tall, and 180 pounds and if you have any information on his whereabouts you are asked to call the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at (605) 764-5651 or Crime Stoppers at 1-877-367-7007.
