Police Release Photos Of Robbery Suspect

Sioux Falls police have released two photos of a suspect in an armed bank robbery.

It happened at the Great Western Bank on North Sycamore Avenue near 6th Street around 7:30 Monday morning.  Police say the suspect was waiting at the bank before it opened.  When an employee arrived, the man showed a handgun, followed the employee inside and demanded money. 

Police say the suspect is a black man who's described as being 5' 8" and weighing 145 pounds.  He was wearing a red argyle sweater, tan pants, and a black and white checkered mad bomber hat.  He covered his face during the crime and was carrying a red backpack.
