Emerald ash borer arrived in town just days before he took office. His administration is already responding
"It's going to be a challenge. We basically over-planted a lot of ash in our city. So we're going to start being more proactive with the types of trees we're planting and also look at some of the treatment options. Because it can be treated. We just need to be proactive as possible, and we've got a pretty good jump on it. Our Parks Department is in a pretty good position I feel," said TenHaken.
