Man Accused In Aberdeen Holdup Pleads Not Guilty

An Aberdeen man accused of robbing a truck stop at gunpoint has pleaded not guilty.

Twenty-three-year-old David Hedges has requested a jury trial on robbery, assault and gun charges. He could face more than 50 years in prison if convicted.

Hedges allegedly held up the Starlite truck stop on Aug. 3. No one was hurt. The amount of money involved was not disclosed.

Hedges also has pleaded not guilty to unrelated drug and identity theft charges.
