New and disturbing details emerged Friday afternoon about the death of northeast Nebraska native Sydney Loofe and the roles of two persons of interest linked to her initial disappearance last month.
One of the attorneys for those persons of interest, Aubrey Trail and Bailey Boswell, says he expects the pair will be charged with Loofe's death in the near future.
Loofe disappeared after arranging a date last month with Boswell. Her remains were later found on December 4th.
Now Friday, the Omaha World Herald reports that Loofe was dismembered and her remains scattered in a portion of rural Clay County.
The newspaper quotes law enforcement sources who say the evidence suggests it may have been some type of ritual killing.
