Law Enforcement Issue Warrants In Video Lottery Forgery Cases

Sioux Falls, SD

Two people are wanted in connection with forged video lottery tickets that have been turned in at a number of casinos.

The Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office says the suspects go into casinos associated with gas stations or bars, pull out a winning ticket and then alter it to make it look like it is worth more.  Law enforcement has taken reports from businesses in Brandon, Brookings County, Sioux Falls and Minnehaha County.

Capt. Jason Gearman said that based on pictures of the suspects with their unique neck tattoos and face jewelry, the Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office identified the suspects as Coye Nohava, 33, and Brittany King, 27.

Both are wanted for counterfeiting lottery tickets.
