Law Enforcement Asks For Public Input On Body Camera Policy

Rapid City, SD

Authorities in the Rapid City area will soon have a new tool to fight crime.

Some police officers and deputies will be armed with body cameras beginning in January. They'll test them out for a few months.  By next summer, every officer and deputy will have one on patrol.

Before that happens, officials would like your input.  You can share your feedback online.
Public input will be accepted through December 15, 2017.
